Ana loves comics. At the age of a young girl, she was beginning to read comics. As a child she was a fan of The Phantom comics, Batman, Superman and The Crow. After the first season, she quit working on Chemistry (2011) due to the excessive amount of body hair she was sporting. Her first encounter was with Partisan's famed Serbian basketball squad for a fashion model, as a basketball player at twelve years old. After that, she embarked on acting after being featured in a number of Serbian commercials. She has also mastered basketball, Kickboxing (Hapkido), martial arts and stage fighting. Ana Alexander is also adept at a wide variety of dance styles such as hip-hop, jazz, ballet, waltz and salsa. One of her family friends, actor Rados Bajic, asked Ana to appear in her debut film when she was 13 in a peasant comedy, where she got the first time working on a set for a film and after which she became one of the few students accepted to the University of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade for film and theater when she was sixteen. Due to the war in Serbia her family made the decision to move for a better future. At 17 the Stojanovic's moved in Cape Town South Africa where Alexander finished her diploma in BA and Drama School graduating from Cape Town's University of Cape Town. Alexander has traveled extensively through her entire life, living on three continents and across many countries, including Serbia South Africa Germany England Italy Austria and the United States of America did theatre and enjoyed a lucrative model career. She moved into New York in 2002 having been featured in several films and commercials before and then moved into Los Angeles in 2003. Alexander is fluent in Serbian, Russian, and Afrikaans. She speaks a little Polish Italian and German. Amyar returns home in the next episode, but is shocked to learn that Sikandar was not her father.
